I love biker pics. Ya'all should check out the biker movies from the 60's. Bomb-astic denim steez in those. Hells Angels on Wheels, The Born Losers, The Losers/Nam's Angels are some I've seen recently with some kick-ass denim in'm.

While touring the Hoover Dam in Nevada I noticed these cool period photos of workers taken during construction which would date them some time between 1931 and '36. Hard to tell but the guy in the first photo could be wearing early 30's Levi's?

Great photos.. don't know the first jeans; they're not Levi's; the main pockets are less curved, and if you look at the watch pocket, it is placed nearer to the fly, more like 50s Lee jeans.

the really ironic thing about this pic is how aweful the history of it is. those are japanese american camp workers held in camps during wwII just because they were of japanese origin. a realy shameful part of worlds history. sorry for beeing too political but this pic always made me very upset and sad.

Not to mention that the image, feel, and culture that many of the Japanese repro brands attempt to achieve is from that time period. A time period where all Americans wanted the Japanese destroyed.
