Pork Laulau, the meat just falls apart. cleared the whole plate including the taro leaves, with a big bowl of rice

dinner at Nobu.. forgot to take pics of some dishes but here are the ones we took pics of

botan-ebi. like a jumbo ama-ebi. love fried shrimp heads.

Squid Pasta w/ asparagus and mushrooms and light garlic sauce

seared trout with crispy spinach. if you go to nobu waikiki, get this. it's an off-menu item, real good.

chef's choice of sushi + 2 pieces of toro belly

grilled goat cheese poundcake, w/ black pepper ice cream & macadamia nut foam

if you go to the Waikiki Nobu, forget the jalapeno yellowtail and get the Bigeye Ahi Poke. it's exclusive to this Nobu and it was one of my favorites. forgot to take a pic though.

^they are not bad at all. sometimes too greasy for my tastes but usually quite good. smashburger started here in colorado I guess.. you should try their smashfries next time, they're tossed in garlic & rosemary.

No pics, but to my egg lovers, I eat this almost every day for lunch...

Buy a can of coconut milk and let it sit in the fridge overnight so that the cream separates from the water. Scoop out the cream and whip it up a bit in a bowl. (optional: add sweetener, vanilla etc.)

Then fry up some eggs. I like to fry them in a little pastured butter and then cover them in turmeric and cinnamon.

Top them with your coconut milk and voila! Delicious.
