Spider, what do you think of the fit/quality on the cooper?

I asked a couplepages back, but I think it was drowned out by the awesomeness of almostnice's jacket.

# Anti Hero84 Cooper a-2 is verry comfy and the fit is dope...goat skin leather is not to thick & bulgy & superb quality.I dont have experience with other exotic brand like buzz or mccoy which is so expensive , but cooper a-2 is worth the penny for a start.Will post fit pic soon.

Not sure if you can do it like this. i am 180 cms at 70 kgs and fine with a 42. You might be good with a 40. But for a jacket like that you shouldn't trust guesswork. Get in contact with Amanda, either call her or send a mail. She knows her stuff.

Got me a russet jerky Bronco. Been wanting one since this thread started pretty much but kept putting it off. Figured I didn't need any more winter jackets this year so finally went ahead with the order. Superexcited

maybe someone is familiar with rainbow country a-2 jackets?

i have leather down vest by this company and it's superb, but not sure about quality of a-2 made by this manufacturer.

i know they are popular in Japan.

You can get 2 Goodwear Leather A-2s for that price and you can't get a more accurate A-2 anywhere.

Unfortunately for me originals are extremely rare in my size and very very expensive. I do have an original mid 1960s 7823C Irvin Foster G-1.

The A-1 is capeskin. It was what was spec'd for originals. The Werber is horse and of course the 422 is goat with period 1930s/40s mouton.

Goat will stretch maybe a little but horsehide isn't going to stretch much if any.
