point me in the right direction, i've been looking for a few days.

the tracklist is pretty solid, but why do you want this? i imagine you probably own every single track. is this guy's mixing really that stellar?

btw is the mister move big in nyc?

old electro is still the sickest.

flock of seagulls, duran duran, simple minds. cant beat it

that is not old electro. that's just fuckin new wave. i know that shit may have influenced electro clash, but there is a difference between electroclash and electro.

thank you for that. so much.

as for the Ayres mix, i'm just interested in hearing the tracks being used in a mix being made by someone who doesn't necessarily have a connection to the music as it was being produced, and the inclusion of a few newer songs also interests me just to see how it fits in with the older tracks.

plus im a junkie and will listen to anything at least once.

another fucking fantastic set of modern electro that this thread made me remember and re-listen-to: "Beatz Clash" mixed by Radioactive Man and Transparent Sound. Slamming thumping stuff that's just as fun to dance to as it is to listen on headphones. Basically everyone into electro should have this.

p.s. Radioactive Man is Andrew Weatherall of Two Lone Swordsmen/Warp/Rotters Golf Club fame if that helps convince anyone.

i am also going to vouch for Beatz Clash being essential.

omc, theyre playing at hiro in march if you care to see em. i guess mention one of the promoters names and you're good on the entrance fee. my friend is actually hosting a brand new party starting on friday next week. justine d. is running it so it's gonna be crazy. i might actually get pulled in to this as they need some ideas on who to book. do u know anyone worth booking as far as dj's go?

FUN29_optp.jpg

ha i went to this. my friend is a promoter so she got me in for free. good show. i saw girl talk back in oct/nov in NY and he is definitely fun to watch. if it wasn't for some jackass trying to pick a fight with me over nothing i probably wouldve enjoyed myself more.

I hope you listen to Mylo and ellen allien & apparat. Oh and check out Shout Out Out Out Out. Crystal Castles are a little too spazzy for me for some reason.
