it's a tarsier

i handled the creatures when i visited the island of Bohol in the philippines

endangered, they are

illegal to handle, actually

(sorry for busting the fridge)

oh, and they are inspiration for the design of ET

for reals

they are nocturnal, but they are woken up for tourist-fondling

when i lived in panama i saw capybaras just hanging out in open fields across the street from stores on base. a sloth navigating the other side of the fence at the post office once, some peccary, but Tapirs were the coolest

Anything that's nearly as big as a person is still pretty scary.

how about a weird almost life-sized person -> this is a call to denimdestroyedmylife to find a pic to suit this

All Chinese Cresteds are fucking ugly. Apparently, there is actually a "World's ugliest Dog" competition. The dog pictured is actually dead, but they purposely bred it to create equally hideous offspring so that they might win every year.......I shit you not:

can't believe that things was real, but:

Update: Reports indicate that Sam went to doggie heaven in mid-November 2005

Yeh, but did they let him in? Lassie would have died of fright

this thread X google just took me through some dark dark dark places

squittens

twisty cats

kangaroo cats

and other mostrosities dreamed up by breeders looking for a quick buck

we are thinking of buying a cat and there is no way I'm saying yes if they offer me a twisty cat, f**k they're scary

but I'll take a cabbit for sure

we bought this scary almost-person-sized octohead for our aquarium last year
