Agreed, we're really happy with how it turned out too - the gold foil has a lot of depth to it. The outline is black vinyl that was laid on over the gold (it also serves to protect it). After that there was a final clearcoat substance painted on around the edges to prevent it from peeling off. I'm told that if it's cared for well, it can last a really long time.
