not necessarily a fan a stark trek but i enjoyed watching it. mostly because the costumes were great.

 

the expectations i had regarding side effects were different than what i saw. can't say it's a bad film. i've still enjoyed it.

What did you take from it?

 

Its been a while since I watched it, and trying to describe what I took from it would be difficult. I enjoyed the overall mood of the movie though. I found the concept of a more psychological space/sci-fi movie to be really interesting (a sentient ocean that uses your memories to drive you to suicide??) At 3 hours though, the pacing can be slow.
