man, i don't know. you know when people have been studying the dictionary/thesaurus and use words for the sake of it, even though it isn't necessary - well i felt like there was a lot of that going on with regards to the slang employed in the dialogue.

It got to the point that it detracted from my viewing experience. Second half was a lot better in that aspect, but by then it'd become another by the numbers action/survival flick tbh.

^^ What'd you think? I watched it recently and thought it was very, very strange in a kind of incohesive/incoherent way. Movies like that I find weirder than typical 'weird' stuff like David Lynch.

Mags, I totally get you. Possssibly passable because they're so young? I've definitely known people that age to force slang like that. I thought a lot of their dialogue was tongue in cheek, but I've not been around young british kids in a long time so idk.

I know it's really weird, but I liked that scene in Hanna with the two girls in the tent. The photography or whatever, it looked really good and certainly gave off the feeling they were trying for.
