over the past couple days I've seen:

candy (heath ledger, abbie cornish, geoffrey rush) - fucking amazing

out cold - sucked terribly

the unit - have seen ~ the first 5 episodes, the action scenes are good, the domestic stuff is complete BS

no country for old men - plot is hard to follow towards the end, but an awesome movie

Finally got around to watching Juno. After the first scene, I was like, oh god. But the movie was a lot better in the 2nd half once all the ridiculous dialogue was gone.

It's like the HK version of Gladiator. Everything you'd expect of a HK film emcompassing a tragic ancient China storyline. However, the last battle was crazy. Donnie Yen is a badass.

I have an old VHS recording of the 1980 fight between Sugar Ray and Duran uncut complete with commercials. I consider it golden. Maybe I'll watch that tonight.
