don't overdo it, but just push yourself every time you ride the bridge and long distances. your legs will eventually build up and even faster if you don't rely on your brake except in emergency situations.

mash was great last night. definitely worth checking out in LA and on dvd when it (finally) drops.

Shit's so gangster so-so double posted.

So, my legs are spent from going through the bridge like 3 roundtrips this weekend. Should I rest and let my muscle build up or look into getting into an easier gear for me to work with? My last round trip today was brutal... was close to getting off and walking up the incline. >.>

what is your gearing anyway?

Just building muscle mass, ripping muscles...your body will repair all that in a few days...

Good to hear people say they struggle with it, seeing most people make it seem like they just hopped on rode 40 miles.

breaking is the biggest obstacle to over come.

Yeah... I'm celebrating by eating ice cream. Woot.

No idea it's mostly a stock KHS flite 100 2005 model minus the stem and bars.... clueless on this. The 2007 model on their site says 48/16 though.

48x16 is pretty high for ya sid, I'd drop to 46x16 at least..

I ran 53x16 for a little bit, it was a nice workout, haha. Right now I'm 53x18 which is fine for going uphill/down/etc etc, breaking is a lil bad on my knee. Due to Columbus Day I won't be getting my 50t until tomorrow :(

Ah I figured the camera was playing tricks on me. I've got the same lock and can just barely fit my rear wheel and seat tube in it. Dope little lock though.

Bike looks fucking sweet dude, is that the Alize ring I see there?

Nope, it's a Suntour ring..came w/ the superbe pro cranks.

I'm switching it out for a Shimano tomorrow

question for you guys. I'm going to buy a new crank for my bike. I have narrowed it down to two choices: Sugino 75s or FSA carbon pros. at this point I am leaning towards the FSAs because they are cheaper but I am skeptical about the quality. although I feel that I can install them correctly I have heard of the octalink stripping out. as far as the suginos go, Is thier quality really worth the price? I can get the whole fsa set (cranks, chainring, and BB) for $185 plus shiping while the 75s locally will run me 170 for just the crank and then I would have to throw down for a chainring (another 75+) and a BB. I do know that I want to do it right and am willing to pay for highquality parts. Further information as to my setup is I ride an 04 pista with all other parts swapped out minus cranks and headset through portland hard, on a daily basis.

your help would be appreciated

you can get the suginos for $179 from aebike with a 49t ring. the fsa's are great for the track, but not a lot of street use. you will need to get a new bottom bracket do not put it on your old spindle. campy makes a $32 sealed one that is fucking solid.
