Slim cuts low rise jeans are guaranteed to squash my balls. I'm 6'2' with balls to match and need a loose cut.

i've got a pair of APC's, and they're great and the denim is beautiful, but i also still love and wear my $35 rigid 501's...can't go wrong w/those...

they're all over ebay. if you look closely, you may even be able to find a US made pair. btw, i have a pair of 501xx 31x33 US made if you're interested.

i have a pair of size 31 english APC's and i love them to death. i love them to the point that i dont like wearing any other pairs of jeans. someone help me with what new pair to buy. i got into nice denim only about a month ago and im interested in buying a couple new pairs. if someone can reccomend some brands of rigid raw denim that fit just like these it would be greatly appreciated. im not looking for anything pre-faded or any of that stuff. if someone knows a place to get a pair of black selvedge denim that would be awsome.

im also interested in buying a pair of levi's that are as similar as possible to the english APC's. if someone can help me out with which style and size of levi's i shoud get it would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

Me and a good friend of mine just bought some mail order styley from the new york store. The lady was mad airy, but there was a dude who took the phone who was mad tight with knowledge. Have you been "accelerating" any other parts of the jeans? How often do you wear them? When do you plan on giving them the "transformation" wash and if so how exactally will you do it?

And also, how do they fit on you? Tight? Loose?

deim, - the other parts I've been accelerating, (considering the results produced by rubbing with denim are very subtle) are the seat and the back of the lower legs. I'm not sure if I'll give them a wash at all, maybe after a year...

Wearing them almost everyday. The waist fits perfect. They fit close to the skin from the thighs to the knee, and just a little looser on the lower part of the legs. I'm satisfied with them.

how bad do they smell so far?

I bought 2 products to try getting rid of the smell. One is similar to fabreeze, it basically covered the smell with a fragrance and gave them a bit of freshness. The other I bought recently said in it that it kills the smell by using chemicals, not by covering it with perfume. It seems to work better, they now barely smell.

Yeah, dry cleaning may be a good option.

Not sure, though, how much does the color become greyish from it,

They're definitely authentic. I've heard at least once or twice of English jeans that don't have the "Anglaise" label.

I have some APCs from the SOHO store in NY and they lack the English or should I say "Anglaise" tab also. Those English have been washed with no fading to be seen. At least they will be more comfortable to their new owner because my jeans felt like they were wearing me for at least two weeks.

Just got mine back from the tailor, they needed a good 3" off the bottom, and the 'helpful' man has pressed them (and maybe cleaned). Now they have press marks running parallel, but about 1" off the seams. Any tips to sort this so they don't leave a mark? Or will they evenually go with wear?

don't sweat it Cue - just start wearing them and they will bunch up around the ankles for some nice looking fade effects, that is unless you had them tailored to hang flat. What I like about the Anglaise is the smaller leg opening which allows you to have them longer without them getting stepped on in the back. Either way i suspect that time will still fix the "press marks"

Is the prewashed denim of the same quality in all the cuts? Ringspun denim? Sanforized?
