28F = Peacoat time. Although I was still a little too warm walking to work.... (plus 7161s minus knee patch)

You look like you should be working a fishing vessel in the North Atlantic.

That's a great fit, jacob! It barely looks short in the sleeves, like maybe an inch.

That makes sense, Bill. I think Christophe wound up remaking the patterns by hand, though, which is something I'd totally expect from him. Katherine was also saying that some of the shirts have four different types of stitching, and it was driving the sewers mad. So, which colors struck you the most?

All the colors were good..... but because of the limited sizes, I will be choosing from Grey with blue cuffs (size medium), or the Blue (size large)..... Overall my favorite choices are the ones with the contrast color cuffs (which is most of them). Gives them more dept/interest. All the colors will work in your standard denim/chambay/leather/cotton duck color palette no problem.

^LOL

Thanks for the comments and reps, gents. I really should have xposted the better photo of the jeans minus the patch. In full sun, you can barely make out a darker rectangle on the 401 right leg. It'll fade out in time... I wish these were about 3" longer so I could have a mad cuff.

^I might, depending on what you mean by "that sort of thing"

HH- It's actually a small sugar pine cone. The big ones are at least twice that size.

about a month into my riders dungarees, and boy these are evolving quite quickly, the whiskers on the front of the jeans are peaking some light blue and closer to the inner thigh seam is very bright, hell even my "honeycombs' are already showing some lighter colors, and that didnt happen on my samurais until 6-7 month, the lht denim is so nice, kinda slubby, still thick feeling, but not stiff at all anymore (which kinda bums me out, i love stiff denim) i dont know when im going to wash them, probably soon, or i may try to do a 'sufu' hold out and wait for 3 or 4 months

In b4 B-Dawg. Sorry, man <3

Got my thermal today and need some opinions on fit. Overall, it fits me well, but it's kind of a crazy boat neck on me. I don't think anyone really needs to worry about sleeve length. Like Jacob said, the shoulders drop quite a bit.

As usual, the materials and construction are amazing. The colors are fantastic.

Zissou, like the fit, but I see what you're saying about the neck. I find it really hard to layer sweaters with a really wide opening horizontally (does that make sense?). Shirts with collars underneath or just a narrower collar in general look sort of funny.

It does look good w/ the cpo though, so I guess you could find ways to make it work well. Good pickup.

It looks a bit weird to me. I think it is meant to be worn so that the sleeves actually ride up the forearm a bit. I think the shoulder seams should be closer to your shoulders. And I think the bottom of the shirt should sit right at your waist or slightly below. It looks like it is falling down towards your crotch.

What size did you get? maybe go one or two sizes smaller, the stuff is suppose to stretch quite a bit right?

I think these shirts would look great undersized and worn with a signal vest. But in general these shirts might be hard to pull off for a lot of people. They have kind of a mechanic, gear head, type of look.

Those shirts are definitely bad ass though.

I know what you guys mean. The cut is really peculiar on the shirt. It's long in the body, even for a tall guy like me, but short in the sleeves. I honestly could not get the shoulders to sit any higher, and I can't push the sleeves up because the cuffs are tight, even on my skinny arms. And, I think the neck would wind up driving me a little crazy.

I'm pretty sure there aren't any sizes unless Christophe managed to get more than one size tube for a color. That is, I think there was only one size tube for this faded red color, so one size shirt. There is no size on the tag.

I really want to like this shirt, but I don't think the fit is any good for me. I'm about 80% decided on returning it for a deadstock tee and a bandana.
