I'm slimming down my denim collection quite a bit.

Let's start with the Stevensons:

 

 

Wow, what wrinkly denim!

 

 

The 767 model is a slim-straight or straight-tapered cut, depending on how you measure the height of the taper. The 767-OSX is the one-wash version.

 

 

The 767 is one of my favorite fits. I have a pair in size 29; the 30 is just a little loose on me.

Now to the TCBs:

 

 

These are size 32, but have a smaller waist than tag size. The waist should stretch a couple of inches with wear.

 

 

This is the '50s model, which is a straight-leg '50s cut as it would seem from the name.

 

 

At 13.5oz, these are a perfect summer-weight denim, especially with the looser cut. Great details too.

 

 

Very subtle texture to the denim, and beautiful roping (you can see in the background of the above picture).

This is the SD-001, which is a straight cut in a left-hand twill.

 

 

These are size 29 and fit a size big or so. They are one-washed.

 

 

One of my favorite things about this model is the unbleached cotton weft. The purple selvedge is great too.

 

 

The tag on the coin pocket is of my favorite things about Studio D'Artisan.

 

 

These are one-washed and hemmed, but otherwise new. $180 shipped.

On to the Samurais:

 

 

These are so rad, but as usual, a little too big. 510-OGSP from 2011 in size 30.

 

 

This model was released in a limited run of 200--this is number 000.

 

 

They are definitely worn, and have some broken threads on the arcs and back pockets.

 

 

Not really any noticeable fading on these, although I'd imagine there's been some overall color loss.

 

 

Samurai goes all out with the detailing on their special-edition models. Here is the persimmon-dyed selvedge up above.

 

 

Gold-plated buttons and incredibly precise construction.

 

 

Persimmon-dyed pockets, with a patch that reads "Natural Indigo 100% - Selvedge Denim". You can also get a good look at the insane texture of this denim.

Filson jacket:

 

 

This is the Mackinaw Cruiser in black virgin wool. One of the thickest and warmest coats I've owned; waterproof and perfect for fall or winter. Unfortunately it's a bit big.

 

 

As the tag reads, this is a size 36, although I think it fits a bit longer and looser than most 36's I'm used to.

 

 

The wool is really something; warm, fuzzy and soft. From the few times I wore this out, I was never overly hot, weighed down or itchy, which is pretty rare for a wool coat.
