Oouch, shit that would hurt huh. I was initially going to get a mate to weld a big steel rod onto the stamp, stick it a bar-b-q and brand it into leather. But man it's just to much work, they have machines for this stuff.

Yeah I have had the Selvage on my mind for ages, but the non-selvage collection is my main concern right now. Realistically selvage is a small market and quite expensive.

Will try to get some snaps of some of the new stuff, still waiting for woven labels to turn up in the post.

Aw no, I've been so careful to keep these jeans in good condition etc etc and one stray spark from a beach fire just put a hole right threw em. Really glad it wasn't a big spark.

button fly would really make it for me. selvedge is not an issue, in fact i don't even cuff my jeans so any selvedge is just to make me feel tingly inside...

i'll break in my eternals and then look for ande. half a year, i promise!

I think that patch only works on Atelier's or jeans like them. It's too bold for a tighter fitting jean, IMHO.

Oh no man, never mind. Keep an eye on it and if it starts getting heaps bigger you may need to patch it. The Denim I have decided to go with is different than your stuff, I was going to go with that denim but it wasn't an ongoing line. They only had like 140m of it. I am happy with the new stuff, its like cardboard. Edit, and yeah they have loads of it, like 5000m or more and its ongoing

Yeah I had one done on really thick 4mm natural leather, but I think it was actually to thick. I also did a wash test on it and it was still slightly damp after 24 hours.

Yeah it seems people are more into button fly. I have always preferred zip fly, don't know why, just like them.

Sorry I am hi-jacking your thread Diamonds. the new pocketing prints came in late last week. These two are the neutral colours, I have a further six colours coming in tomorrow. Slowly coming together.

I'm still quite happy with the pair I got from Andy few months back. Nice *dark* denim with black stitching. To be honest, he kinda inspired me to take the sewing class I'm in now and learn how to do this stuff. An additional perk: I'm the only guy in there. :-)

Ande, I wish I had seen your stuff before I got my pair of Slim Jims. The Grifter fit looks similar, but the white contrast stitching is hot. I'll look to get a pair in 6 months or so!

They've faded to a really nice bright blue in some places. They're still very dark. Very comfortable.

Man, those are fading quickly on the creases for not doing much! I ride my bike every day, wipe my hands on my legs after I wash em, etc, and my Jims just look dark blue. I absolutely cannot order a pair of those, my pocketbook says no!

Hey guys. Just logged in after a few days away. I am still over the ditch in Sydney at a mates wedding. Did a bit of sifting around some stores downtown yesterday, adidas store is nice, really like the red/white "I love Tokyo" gazelles. Might check out Oxford street today visit the Tsubi shop and see if I can spy some Imperials somewhere.

I am really close to getting back online with everything, just a few things to finalise when I get back, leather labels and a few minor adjustments. I have all the samples ready to sew up and then I will be able to get some good model shots with my friend Scott, get it all back online and hopefully I will have blue hands again in no time.

There wont be the thread colour option. There will be two options now, pocket bag colour (8 colours) and branded or unbranded back pockets. The Denim I am using is different from Mr. Diamonds Grifters as mentioned before.

Just wantes to pipe in praising Ande's work. I have a pair of his grifters, and the cut, fit and details are awesome, they really fit me perfectly. Glad I got my order in while thread color could still be customized—I like the red thread running the length of the inseam on mine.
