yeah the vallejo's one of the better things from the season, but assumed it would make it to sale (i still think this may be the case).  in any case, there's no way i'm going to pay $120 for it, even though it's the kind of thing that will be worth money down the line

Yeah, basically the band wanted to license the song to Levi's for the ad, and Biafra protested, they ended up suing him for underpayment of royalties among other things, he had to pay pretty massive damages and I think some of the rights were awarded to the band as well. Jello's still pretty bitter about it, and rants on the new Dead Kennedys and the reissues, and frankly I'm with him, stuff like licensing songs to directors like Rodriguez and this Supreme collaboration are just shitty cash-grabs
