Wow, and I thought i'd heard stupid questions before.

Wow, someone is defensive. Regardless, buying Samurai with no knowledge could mean that they were bought in the wrong size (especially if they were tried on). Don't see how your Harley example illustrates this, unless it's going to blow up and be useless if you do something incorrectly after the first oil change.

okay, first you get them hemmed to your exact length, not an inch more. then boil them to remove the starch, then wash once a week in vinegar, from what I have heard. Try it and you will never forget the experience of your samurais.

That's a great way to get really short jeans. Forget washing them in vinegar or swiming in the ocean then sitting with your legs crossed for 9 hours or any of that nonsense.
