Finally upgraded my wallet to an obbigood (thanks Laxlife1234), really pleased with the quality of both the leather and the work. Excuse shitty pics, they dont do it justice.

I'm looking to commission someone to make a carrying case for my camera (Ricoh GX200).

Any suggestions for craftsmen that do nice work for a reasonable price? Unlucky? Obbigood? Corter?

Comments and recommendations much appreciated.

Try contacting Nicholas at Hollows Leather. I've been happy with his leather goods, and I think he'd be happy to do some commissioned work.

This jacket was well worn and well loved. It's been around the world, been on numerous motorcycles, in a number of barfights and under the hoods of hundreds of cars. It saw the clash, it saw Bruce Springsteen and it now belongs to me. My uncle was a wild man, and I'm proud to now own something that reflects his personality so well.

Again I have no idea what decade this is from, all it says is "tailored by score for the hudsons bay company toronto" and it's got beefy talon zips

Angelos' type 2 medium wallet in natural cattlehide.

Workmanship is impeccable, fantastic burnish and very well executed stitching...in fact, I prefer it to some of the Red Moon or Kawatako pieces I've handled!

Glad you like it Ed!

About the seller:

Blog

Yahoo Japan auction page

I have no problem putting it in my back pocket. No discomfort whatsoever. But it's indeed quite thick now, well over 2 inches when folded. But it will eventually submit according to the seller:

Used for 2 years, about 3.5-4cm when folded.

Hey, the price is not too bad at all!

Very nice wallet, congratulations on the pick-up :)

The first belt I made turned one year old at the end of January so I figured I'd make a new one. Zissou hooked me up with his leather scraps for a really good deal and I finally got around to ordering hardware. Also made a dog collar for my aunty's dog, just to try something new.
