Hey beatle d'you feel that cleaning your RM makes a difference in its longevity or is it just cause you like it clean? My wallets getting quite a fair bit of indigo stain and I was wondering if it should be cleaned.

well - the indigo tends to develop a patina over time...I just clean it every 3 or 4 months so the leather can breathe again..sound s weird - but don´t really know how else to describe it...

so yeah - cleaning in order to for life span***

My newest Tanner Goods belt - I'm about 6 months in on this one. No oils or tanning was done to this belt... just everyday wear.

I'm pretty new to the "leather world"

Any tips? I know oiling and tanning is a good thing to do.

Are cards supposed to be so "snug" at first?

dont worry about it, scratches add to character and make it unique

Those could be range marks in the leather (ie scars that were on the animal, be it from barbed wire, thorns, trees etc). Listen to the dude above me and don't sweat it. It definitely gives the wallet more character and tells a story about where the leather came from. Enjoy the wallet!

Long wallet I've had for a little under 3 years. Gonna exchange it for something smaller and sleeker. The color's a little darker and browner, but not by much.
