Yeah, they're the beeswax leather color. And yeah, I stitched the lining in myself.

I am actually unsure about what to do with them. I never really have seen worn in suede shoes. I just know to be careful enough not to get them wet. What would you suggest to dub them?

^ The fluffy suede texture looks really good, but that colour might not be easy to keep clean.

I'm not sure whether Alden's suede is water repellent or not (probably is), but if you want to dub it you could use sno-seal if nothing else is available, otherwise you could look for a higher-end coating agent with a high wax content (I'm sure Obenauf has a product fitting this description), or make your own oil/wax mixture.

Would change the texture of the suede though - you may not like it...

Those are my favorite Indy's by far. However the choice of a weather sensitive leather with the rugged all weather commando sole has always seemed a weird choice. If they were mine I wouldn't dub them I'd just let them age.

Maybe it is Tan suede. I just searched LeatherSoul and the Snuff suede was the first one to pop up that looked similar. But now that I see Tan suede, it is probably that. Any way of knowing by the numbers inside?

^ I think it's sand suede - Epaulet has a long wing shoe in the same/similar suede.
