Hi, could do with a bit of sufu wisdom here.

Trying to find the ideal NS jeans for me, after a pretty slim fit with a bit of bag in them to have as alternative to my slim Edwin ED-71’s.

For some reason I was under the impression that they were true to size+, so ended up ordering a pair of 33’s to start with, and this made my legs look like the Michelin Man. Returned these to size down 2 (31’s - below).

Overall the fit is not that bad, even if slightly too loose. Though after wearing these for about 5 hours at an exhibition I’m convinced these are going to stretch out a lot more than I want. But I was unable to return these this time as it’s clear that the denim has started to take a slight form to them.

Since waiting for this account to activate I had some more time to try on some in a 30 as below. Which I’m leaning towards, the second top button was really gut piercing to do up, and the top wasn’t having none of it before it stretched enough with wear.

I was keen to try a pair of 29’s to compare to but haven’t found anywhere with them physically in stock yet. My true waist is around 32 ½ inches depending on intake. Including a few links of other pics on here with a similar fit I’m after.

Also, this leaves me with a pair of 5 hour old NS 31’s to possibly sell (UK only). Ta! :)

Hello denim junkies.

First time on here so I'm probably posting in the wrong place but has anyone got any history details for Lee jeans from the 50s / 60's?

When did Lee stop doing selvedge on their 101Z, 101B and move to the split selvedge and later the lemon yellow overlock?

All the stuff I find on teh net is very incomplete.

Any help would be much appreciated.

nick, tell me about that dry clean, how did that affect the denim?

lookin sick btw

tbh not too much difference from a normal wash. but that's what apc suggests for the first "wash" on the tag of their new jeans. i suppose they give better contrast fades, definitely not a bad thing to try out tho. thx for the comment

No one able to share their expertise with my earlier post?

@cxbxw

Those are a killer fit man, much like I'm after.

Reckon you might be slightly slimmer than me, but what tagged size did you buy against your true waist?

The fit looks good jRga. It looks to be a slim fit since you're sizing down about 3? The 31 looks more to be a baggy fit.

I'd definitely go with the 30 even though it doesn't fit perfect now. It WILL stretch. I'm a 30 for Levi's 514, and a 30 on the Levi's 501 1947s and I bought a 30 for the APC New Standards. They fit perfectly but stretched out a bit. Get the 30.

I should probably clear things up: I am not 'popping my collar' haha! Just an old polo with a shitty collar that needs changing. :)

Thanks! These are a 26. I'm a slim guy.

How is your waist? Can you button it up all the way now?

Yeah, I could button all the way up at 3/4 days of wear. Now they fit perfectly, just 'hugging' the waist, sitting nicely.

I know this has probably been discussed many times, but I don't want to look through the whole thread. I'm looking for new apcs and wonder which is slimmer? petit or nc? I've been lifting so my thighs are a bit bigger now and need a new fit that looks good. Thanks
