Ah I wear 9's.... but they were slightly tight in the pinky toe but have started to stretch a little.. I think 9.5's were too long.. So 42 will probably be snug but stretch out? 43 may be loose?

Pretty much. I would go with a 42. I'm an 8.5 in Chucks and a 41 in CP.
