That can be a struggle yes, but i was used to APC, which have a similar problem. These pockets are deeper than APC's though..

tomorrow will mark the rise of a new natural indigo model, the R425XX SPECIAL.

here is the original article, for those of you who are interested. pretty interesting natural dyed indigo with a green selvage. might consider picking them up. wonder how it looks like in real life. hmmmm... i have translated the article into english, not exactly accurate but its the best i could do. haha.

R425XX is the next development after the R424XX model. The characteristics of the R425 is that it is a low waist and is cut slim and is fitting but not to the extent of it being skinny. The previous R423XX SPECIAL made use of 5% natural indigo and comparatively, this new R425XX makes use of 100% natural indigo, going through 32 rounds of hand dye. The Red Cloud & Co.'s natural indigo source began in a dye factory in the 1880s (not sure how true this is) and over the past 130 years, the artisans have never given up on the dyeing process, instead working hard on it slowly and meticulously. China and India were the earliest growers of the indigo plant. Japan and other countries slowly followed suit with the growth of the indigo plant. The growth of this indigo plant is now known as China's non-cultural heritage (not too sure how to translate this part, but basically the idea they are trying to relate is that the growth of the indigo plant is one of China's valued heritage, somewhat like how they first made paper and discovered gunpowder etc). The pictures you see below are from the production of the R425XX Special and is the prototype and there will be adjustments made later on. Tagged size 32 inches, Front Rise: 25cm, Back Rise: 34cm, Thigh: 30cm, Leg Opening: 20cm.

The R423XX is a completely different cut from the R400 and they never made the R423XX in a 17oz. The only 17oz models are the S400 and the R400, which is the exact same cut but with different details.

thanks a lot for the translation Ranon! looks indeed interesting. so 32 hand dyed...I guess this means also dyed to the core so a bitch to fade? and the rise is really pretty low for my taste

agreed b_F. rise is pretty damn short. would be nice to see them make something with a higher rise. probably would be a bitch to fade if it was really natural indigo dyed to the core. hmmm need to have a look at pricing during release to see if things make sense if you know what i mean afterall 100% natural indigo should cost a lot more if you take into account the man hours and indigo used.

i can't tell for sure but they dont have any jackets in olive yet. could possibly be a prototype for an existing/old design but i cant confirm this.

from the chemical view it's the same. but afaik the natural indigo may contain some more impurities. however as it is more work to dye with natural indigo, most say a natural indigo denim is superior

R425XX SPECIAL seems like a model with the cutting between slim and skinny.

The shop in taobao.com only provided the non-wash measurement table and the shop also mentioned that shrinkageof this model is higher than other models.

I would wonder that there are a washed measurement of R425XX SPECIAL..
