My Onis from Hinoya have the leather tab. I prefer it to the cloth version.

The inseam on mine (32 waist) is 35" after a hot wash. So you might be in luck.

just mashine washed my stinking oni from the ocean wash. it looks even better. i'm really going to take it slow on them now.

sorry, no measuring tape. i'll try to do them as soon as i can.

jeffyvain, seems to me the oni blue is a inseam 34 (or longer). I'm 6ft and it's still too long for me even after the wash.

I think that the slimmer Blue fit is actually a little better. The Red fit is way too baggy IMO, even if you soak it.

This is my dilemna. I want a straight leg jean that is a bit looser than APC rescues. I would probably get a 31 Red which has a 9.5 inch leg opening.. after soak it would be like 8.75 or 9 inches. The APC's are 8.5 so I feel like it should work. I'll have to wait and see.

the blues aren't that slim at all. it's definitely loser than the 811. it's just a tad slimmer than 1947's.

the waist expanded and is probly a 34 but i'm has shrunk since washing them.

it's in my other house and have yet to see the pair.

got my reds from BIG yesterday. the 31's fit perfect after soak, but im afraid they'll stretch a lot. what was your experience with stretch on the blue's?

Looser. Although my AI-001s aren't broken in. I've barely made a dent in distressing them so I don't know how it fits when it's worn in.

Did your blue's stretch a lot?

I experienced some stretch, i might size down one. They were really tight at first and stretched out a bit. What do you think John11f?

Agree. It stretched A LOT. I normally wear a 34 but most of my jap denims are size 33 except for the AI-001 and the Sorahiko which are both one wash.
