Awesome! I shrunk mine in cold water and it shrank a little. Mine is a Med and I have 39" chest and am 5'11". That pic of mine is over a year old, I will get a new pic up soon. It has been washed 2 X. I have had it since summer 2003.

progress has been slow because i have been hanging out a little too much. i have the front and back finished, have to sew them together and make the sleeves. jean jackets are a lot more work than jeans. i should be done by this weekend!

red, it was a fuckin' bitch to make! but, i learned a lot and had fun. it was a lot harder than jeans.

i think i am going to do something easy next, like a pair of selvage shorts. yes, selvage shorts.

before i forget, let me list the details of the jacket:

14 oz. cone selvage denim sanforized

two-tone stitching (gold and yellow)

selvage collar, front facing, cuffs and waistband

long sleeves

two chest pockets, no side pockets

no buttons (maybe i'll put buttons on later, but i like the way it looks now)

slightly slim fit

Are you gonna stand the heat and start breaking it in already? Denim jackets in 32degrees , that would be dedicated!

I really like the stitching, maybe its just me, but i get the impression the gold and yellow threads are a cm apart, quite wide spaced, I think it looks really cool like that and very unique.

thanks guys! the good thing about new york being so hot in the summer is that it's very cold on the train. after soaking it last night for about an hour, the color became a shade darker and it's a lot stiffer now. should wear nicely!
