I'm in that situation right now, she doesnt like to spend money on clothes and she wears whatever she wants, I dont care though

she will spend 300-400 bucks on some sunglasses though

I used to have a girlfriend who dresses hit or miss, I really didn't tell her if she was dressing off, but she would from time to time seek for my approval, y'know how women are always seeking validation. But I do tell her how she can improve on it. It didn't really bother me and wasn't a big deal, as long as your getting ass!

I dated a chick like this who eventually became very self conscious of her image after hanging out with me extensively. ^^Hahaha. I think since we're stylish men, our girls tend to see us as style makers. There's this girl who said I should come with her to shop...but I blew her idea off and said let's go skateboarding.. she skates and so we just ended up skating instead. I think girls get self conscious easily. And we here in the board exude confidence that we don't let anyone tell us what to wear.

had the same thing happen to me...

I have an ex-girlfriend tell me all the time: "I only wear the clothes you bought me, cause they're the ones people compliment me like crazy on..." and "Will you come shopping, you know so much better than I what's in style?"

My response to the shopping and my knowledge as to what's in style is usually slightly doubtful...here I am wearing labels 99.9% of my peers would never recognize and you're calling me stylish...I call myself picky...I don't know about stylish...

I'd stay away from stuff like booty pants or anything too revealing, but cute tees, hats, sweaters, polos make you look thoughtful. Plus, you can always return stuff that doesn't work. Or take her shopping as a gift and buy her a nice pair of jeans that you are way into. My experience is that once people become accustomed to having a few pieces of truly well-designed clothing, they tend to view their abercrombie/gap/old navy in a more accurate light.

my girl actually has a lot of confidence and wears whatever she likes whether or not I like it. she never puts on something autrocious but she just wears whatevr and shes not really into fashion anyways. my other friend though is super into clothes. she gets enuff compliments on her clothes without my help.
