has anyone picked up the double knee pants? I'm wondering about the measurements since the webstore ones aren't always that reliable (and they don't measure things like leg openings)

the pants fit pretty consistently across a season... they don't provide leg opening measurements because you probably don't want their stuff if you're concerned about things like leg opening.
