That is some hot shit lowery. I like the color progression from the first pic (which is well compositioned btw) to the second-to-last one that yardsale featured (another great composition btw).

I'm trying to transition from shadows to silhuettes nowadays, being away from an urban environment like L.A. is challenging but hopefully it's a better mental exercise.

Anyone been playing with super minimal silhuettes lately? Should I constrain my focus to just a body part?

that shot just looks like your flash didn't go off. If you would have stepped back a couple paces, it would have made for a good overhead light source right down on you, and you could have played with that a bit.
