Rode up to Burbage ..and down into Hathersage ..this is where i'm heading ..grow up Double 0 ..out of the corner of my eye, i thought i saw a cluster of morels by the side of th road.. in March? ..sadly not ..Hope ..Castleton ..Dopeness .. i hate riding up Winnats Pass ..so i shouldered the bike and climbed up the hill .. halfway up ..at the top ..over the ridge, looking towards Mam Tor.. one of my neighbours has been living in one of these camper vans for the last 2yrs while renting her house out to some Korean academics, she and her husband spent Christams in Holland and she house sat her daughters flat in London for a few weeks but other than that, it's been van-life.. ..single track ..quadrouple track? ..called for a pint of Heresy and a water bottle refill at the Norfolk Arms ..and passed a field of newborn lambs on my way home ..everyone lived happily ever after15 points

My old, worn 1101s from 2017 and new (to me) one-wash 0106s (produced in 2018 but recently acquired). Both size 31 and 13.7oz denim. The 1101s have had 2 rounds of crotch repairs, the arcs have completely disintegrated and they’re now relegated to dog walking duties - note the short welly fades on the lower legs. They’re probably the slimmest fitting jeans I’ve worn in years. The 0106s aren’t seen that often, they’re supposed to be a wider cut than the 0105s but they seem pretty similar all round to me, other than the offset rear belt loop and perhaps wider back pockets. I have a pair of raw 0105XX too with arcs and tabs, so I’ll try to give them a proper comparison. The 0106s will need a little off the length.15 points

I was trying to hold out until the three month mark for a wash, but we went to a ren fest yesterday and got rained on. So the jeans were just too grungy. Jeans are out drying in the sun now, I'll get some post wash pictures this weekend.11 points

And here is my vintage Levis Vintage Clothing items, as lvc was the abbreviation used from late 2003 onwards. Top pair are First edition 1955 501XX from September 1996 and bottom pair are Nos 1920s 201's from 2000. This last pair are destined to be worn in the garden by me once my Csf 41's are trashed.11 points

Man thtas one of the most insanely faded shirts ive ever seen... props here's my new 3005-AI's in a 34, size up from my D105s in a 33. Probably the loosest jeans I've ever had in the legs which means they're super comfy. Also peep the new (to me) belt with silver buckle and 18K F...10 points

1947 Bluebell's Wrangler 1st prototype with levis style arc and leather label. Around the following year after a lawsuit from Levi's regarding arcs, the W stitching appears and the leather label was replaced by a plastic one. The latter was more to do with the modern washing machine becoming the norm and would shrink the labels right up and they would turn to a piece of unreadable jerky leather. Anyway the reason l'm posting is that this is the clearest original 1st label on a pair l've seen so far, so thought l'd share for posterity sake etc (click twice for clarity). Looks to have been soaked/washed once? Never given Wrangler too much thought when it comes to the 'big 3' but the more l study l realise that they were in many ways the first designer jeans compared to Levi's and Lee. Yes the Wrangler brand was late to the party in terms of the (cowboy) market share, but within a very short space of time apparently took a huge chunk of both its competitor's pie becoming Pro Rodeo sponsors etc etc. Anyway, carry on ..3 points

We took our daughter out to the local wildflower center near our house yesterday, hard to believe she's already 3 months old. I've had a hard time documenting much lately, but I'm working on it! Before and after one of our pups got a (long overdue) haircut. Keeping watching during playtime. I've got a bunch of fancy sneakers but somehow I always end up back in these ones from Catchball. Seen a guy at one of our local coffee shops wearing some wide FH's and Paraboots.3 points

I didn’t necessarily want to start a new thread for this but I did anyway as it may have some interest . Obviously repros have been around for a long time now and, I think, some items can be considered vintage in their own right. What old repro-style item you have? I’m thinking primarily jeans, jackets, shirts here, but perhaps there are other items of interest - and I know that some early models were not strict repros. Vintage is slightly subjective and we may all have different views but my thinking (for this thread) is anything prior to 2000. I don’t want to be too exclusive though so anything on the cusp is welcome! My oldest item is this pair of Levi’s Japan 503 BSXX natural indigo from August ‘91 - almost 34 years old!2 points

Hey all. Here are my Warehouse 1101, worn regularly for about 18 months I think. Gotta love how the Banner denim evolves. I began wearing them a little before my eldest son was born in 2017 and discovered a whole new world of knee fades upon his arrival 😌… Jumping forward a few years, I’ve started wearing them again recently so will aim to get better shots of them on here later down the line.2 points

speaking of old Fxxx and pioneer v. frontier... from the dark ages and at one point having a pair of both F380 and F350 (which were still the best patterned pair i've worn). was doing a little closet cleaning and found this pair in an old bin... wish i would have had some foresight about 17 years ago and bought about 4 more pairs of these... dig that pocket shape2 points

@Broark was trying to hold out too, really wanted to get to at least 3 months. But took a muddy dive playing soccer with my boy. We’ll see how well the spot cleaning can go on this one...1 point

Edwin have produced quite a range of jeans over the years and were my introduction to the repro world back in 2002 via their Waynesvilles from the now, sadly closed Interstate. Their 505s (top) debuted in 1994 and were definitely a repro. Their 4007s (below, year unknown) were a strange Levi’s/Wrangler hybrid, well Levi’s with Wrangler arcs. Basically the opposite of those 1947 Wranglers with Levi’s arcs!1 point

http://tcbjeans.com/2025/03/03/51429 It also seems like they are making some changes to models with a red tab—it'll be overdyed indigo before attaching. They are starting after the upcoming restock of 30s jeans and jackets, but the wording seems to imply that all models will eventually have the new tabs.1 point

I hope it does work 🤞 - I’d imagine those cash/card wraps might be a popular thing The biggest challenge is ‘handmade’. I’ve said enough about it previously - but mostly I’ve found folk don’t really care about that aspect so beware what you charge, despite what it costs. Just use ‘popular’ tanneries (love me some Badalassi 😂)1 point
