Kinda been my uniform lately, nothing but t-shirts during these long summers. Makes for pretty boring fit pics! YM Factory tee. Ooe Yofukuten. Rick Owens.19 points

Well phew! I'm relieved I got the 30th anniversary version without the arcs. Narrowly escaping a scenario where some pitbull lawyer chases me down on the street & attempts to rip my pants off...🤣7 points

Looks like Levi's is back at it, suing Full Count for the 3rd time over arcs and tabs. https://www.wwdjapan.com/articles/19431646 points

helleaux! I thought I should introduce myself now that I've finally joined. I think I've been lurking since 2021 (!) but in late 2022 suffered a stroke which paralyzed me. however, I've been working to recover ever since, and this year started wearing my old clothes again. can't really work on fading jeans right now (I like pre-lawsuit "fake" levi's repros with the arcs) but I also love jackets so I'm committed to this t-back FW 46-47 for now. the rest is very old polo.6 points

Haha maybe they had to raise their prices and control export pricing in anticipation of the legal fees to come for their 30th anniversary pair3 points

I have the 1101 30 anniversary, which I bought from their Harajuku store while on a trip to Japan, and can confirm that they do have the arcs and tab… I think they were trying to stay as true as possible to the original jeans. I forget if these were exported, but would be interesting to know if the denim included arcs and tab if they were. The book that came with the jeans is quite nice, but if I hadn’t been in store I would have passed. Pretty sure this is where the higher cost came from.2 points

Levi’s should force FC to recall all the 30th ani pairs to be unpicked by means of poetic justice..2 points

@Cold Summer they did dump the arcs, but I think this was specifically in retaliation to the 30th anniversary collection which had arcs and tabs if I recall correctly.2 points

Wait, what? Didn't Full Count dump their arcs and tabs over five years ago? Did Levi's build their own time machine so they can sue temporal offenders at will?2 points

TCB jackets tend to have longer sleeves than comparable jackets from other brands. From my knowledge, the 20s denim is prone to shrinking more with the first couple of washes, so I can imagine the sleeve and body length will be affected by that. If I had to guess, the longer sleeve length seems to be part of their intended fit because they tend to prefer the slouchier, looser look from shots all over their website and social media.2 points

@dum_surfer I have several fit pics across the board of both but unfortunaley they are at different weights... If you fear the 711 will be too small, just buy a bigger size The different rise has a big impact. 1946 in W34 and I am heavier 711 in W34 and I am slimmer2 points

Hello! Thought I'd post my 714s on here. 6 months of regular wear. I was planning on not washing these much to see if I could get a bit more contrast but with young kids that hasn’t been possible. They are still starting to get interesting though and I really like the denim. These are a 32 33. I probably should have gone with a 33 for less of a fitted look. Maybe next time2 points

Hi guys, I'm sure you've seen this on Resolute's IG but just wanted to share a photo of the Resolute GB (Ghost Black) which will be released on 2025. Here side by side is how it looks new versus worn for about a year.. even new, it doesn't have a very deep black color, almost like a deep indigo/navy which I really like.2 points

That one came out a few years back. Same colors I think (khaki version might have been a bit lighter). In any case it's a great piece!1 point

This suit specifically mentions their 30th anniversary edition so maybe they brought them back for it? Which would be…surprising.1 point

Wait what.. who’s arcs were TCB plagiarising again?1 point

The size US10.5 didn't work for me. Burg&Schild said you should size up by 0.5 compared to Red Wing sizes (I am US9.5 in Red Wing) so a size US10 would have been the "right size". But these felt more like 1 size too big so a US9.5 would have been right I think. So back they go and anyone interested can grab these for 250€ when they are back in stock.1 point
