  2. My first thoughts too. They had a chance to drop a reworked First Edition Kit or just a 1:1 version made from modern materials, with posters from Rudnick, maybe some VA album on USB from Raster Noton etc. The J100-WS is ugly as hell though and definitely not worthy of the J100 title.

  7. Alas the Ooe type 2 did not work out The measurements on the actual jacket were significantly less those quoted by the seller - hence it doesn't fit me. Yahoo seller said shoulder 53.5 cm - it's 4cm less. And chest is 2cm less than quoted. Annoying but you pay your money and take your chances. Lovely jacket though!!! And it is now up for grabs. I'll post it on the sales thread and it's up on Grailed - however do DM me to discuss costs!! There is a write up on it here Actual sizing (it looks like it's been washed already, tagged as 44) Pit to Pit - 59.5cm Shoulders to seams - 49.5cm Arm outside - 59.5cm Length 58.6cm

  13. Hi guys, I'm sure you've seen this on Resolute's IG but just wanted to share a photo of the Resolute GB (Ghost Black) which will be released on 2025. Here side by side is how it looks new versus worn for about a year.. even new, it doesn't have a very deep black color, almost like a deep indigo/navy which I really like.

  15. France's also in the middle of an election right now, and the UK's Labour program is pretty much to the right of anything on offer in France (from an economic stand point).

  16. Broadly it’s to do with grading and demand. A pair of jeans (or just about any other item) will not grade successfully from the smallest size to the biggest size - so the manufacturer then has to make multiple patterns. This adds to development costs … and could well impact fabric choices / costs. The pattern is developed from what will be the most popular sizes (and likely a particular body type - this is an issue) so the manufacturer will be even more reluctant to create a new pattern for would have the lowest demand. Pretty much what Kiya said. There are potential other issues but safe to say it’s not the most straightforward route to just add extra size availability to a product.

  18. Anyone here recognize these? Def. MP-series, but I don't think I've ever seen those rivet backs. The bar tack on the fly is also throwing me for a loop; I think that rules out the 597 or the 603. (Anyone here a size 26?)

  21. Hey I'm back so soon that I can see another one of my posts on the same page of the thread. I made a video where I go over every single Acronym Nike release and cover my personal collection along the way. I also touch on the new MSCHF collaboration. I have every Lunar Force 1 because I love that shoe so much, there's also a tier list near the end for my definitive ranking of every pair. I think I get mildly controversial with some of my opinions!

  22. Since we're all doing updates, here is mine after a little over a year. Changes are in bold. FW 1942 to be added soon, thinking about selling all my WH jeans if anyone is interested. I just haven't been wearing them at all lately. 27. BONCOURA DUCK HUNTER CAMO PAINTER SHORTS There is a lot to say about Boncoura’s new Duck Hunter Camo shorts; a reinterpretation of the quintessential American work pant, transformed into shorts and enhanced by the use of Duck Hunter Camo fabric. These shorts are made from a thick herringbone fabric that is specially printed with Duck Hunter Camo on both sides, offering different colors on each side. Designed with deep hand pockets for practicality, the coin pocket is slightly shallower than its vintage counterparts to enhance accessibility, while the side pockets are thoughtfully sized to accommodate items like an iPhone and vary in size from left to right for added functionality. True to their work pants heritage, the shorts include a wrench loop for those employed at OK House Building Services. The sides are reinforced with triple stitching using a vintage sewing machine, ensuring durability, while the thick belt loops add strength. The top button features an original lacquered laurel wreath design typical of wartime buttons. The zipper with a BONCOURA original logo is like vintage cotton zipper tapes, and the right side of the back patch pocket displays the BONCOURA name on a woven patch. Reinforcement below the back pockets is achieved by applying an additional layer of fabric on the inside, doubling up the material for increased strength. Truly a pair of very well thought out shorts. Shop Boncoura Online: https://www.selfedge.com/boncoura

  33. The contrast stitching plays a big role and can deceive your eyes. If you want a pair of black jeans which look black it's better to use tonal stitching (IMO).

  38. My natural indigo 1880s were a bit grubby so I gave them a handwash. For those who haven't seen them before, this was pretty much LVC's last model and, more significantly, Cone's last new fabric, an 1880s nautral indigo repro, using indigo grown in the US. It's a bit dark and my hands are a bit shaky (hangover) but this gives something of an impression. My previous natirual indigo jeans included the early Levi's Nevada/Kurabo, the SDA, Sugarcane; this is easily the nicest fabric. Crocks quite a lot but doesn't wash out, lots of crinkling. These are close to the perfect place, so for the summer I've switched to my old 1890s single pocket pair, which are Kaihara fabric I think - nice, but the slubbing is far more regular, Cone really mastered a more random slub on what would be their last new Levi's style fabric. The other pic is the field that supplied the indigo, harvested at dawn.

  44. Well, they are simply more roomy. The rise is not so much but the legs. Denim feels similar in thickness. Of course, it's more rigid now and that can influence the feel. It has more vertical slub/texture.
