Cool video here made by Nest Store from Korea, interviewing a few faces behind Freewheelers. Not sure how many parts there will be, but I personally really enjoyed watching this one, and I appreciate that they embedded English subtitles.12 points

Meanwhile, the one thing I have from Bronson that hasn’t fallen apart has been a really huge success Wore this most days for probably around 2–3 years from ~2016 onwards, and even now it still sees a few days of sunlight each month Great denim, great execution. Overall I probably prefer the Union Special version, but not by a large margin8 points

Some of you will think this is the most illegal thing to do but i think they turned out great. Long story short, i rarely ever wore these tcb 50s since they are too big and i have another pair of raw's that i'm fading. Since there are no light wash selvedge jeans i tought why not try with these since i dont use them. I tried 4 cups of bleach in a bathtub for 3h and it did absolutely nothing so i ended up pouring 2L of bleach in there and did that two times. Time will tell how much damage that did. But i will wear these more now.6 points

Measurements are very similar for the 42 and 44 above Chest 55 compared to 54 cm / Shoulders c.50cm on both 42 19.7in = 50cm 42.9 = 54.5 44 20.5 = 52.7 44.9 = 57 As mentioned, the material is stretchy so the measurements could be more variable. The 44 is a touch bigger when worn, no shit Sherlock you say!! I've had lots of Bronson t-shirts before and found them good value for money overall. I'll report back post-wash with these though @indigoeagle yep it's their 1940s USN t-shirt. Interesting button holes you point out... Bronson have them... what were they used for back in the day? And the laces? @Mods - we're now deep in discussion of non Japanese garms on a Japanese garms thread 😉2 points

Looks like USN Skivvy shirts. Do they also have button holes on the hem? Warehouse had offered some, too. http://the-tac.net/shopdetail/000000009137/ct412/page1/price/2 points

Yes around 4L of bleach, i bought the cheapest bottle and the label says <5% concentration so who knows how strong it actually is, i would start with less. Make sure to neutrazlie the bleach afterwards with something like hydrogen peroxide. Yes you can also add a bit to your machine, just make sure it's in the dedicated slot.2 points

The 601 RB jeans yes. That’s all I’m sure about, but I think it’s the whole thing. The 507b - to be honest I’m not sure if it’s old stock but I don’t think so, all I know is I found one. I haven’t seen a new 507RB, but I haven’t gone looking either. I don’t pay a whole lot of attention to what’s being released, it’s more like I go looking for something specific and see if/when it will be around.1 point

I passed on the 42’s but have a black tux coming my way at some point (well, a 507b jacket and 601rb pants, so…almost). Really my discipline has absolutely gone out the window the last two years.1 point

Agreed, the toys weren’t really my thing but I can appreciate the thought and care that went into developing them. @MJF9 same situation as Doc, mine should be here soon-ish. I did receive the jacket, I plan on taking some photos of it this weekend (along with a bunch of other things). Been a bit hectic lately since I recently started my new job.1 point

I just ordered a loopwheel t from them just to see how they are. Worth it given the price Customer service was cool, checking in to check on sizing.1 point

@dada mafiosiVarious versions of the 1001xx pop up secondhand occasionally too in minimally worn condition and for reasonable prices if you’re lucky or patient enough to find your size. That’s how I found my pair1 point

I hadn't spotted these on there until now - I can't figure out if Signet ship to the UK - looking at their shipping options it looks like a negatory good buddy, but does anyone know for certain?1 point

Yes, LVC also offers some pre-distressed pairs. They did this more often several years ago though.1 point

Yep, the coin pocket is probably my favourite detail. No idea if that is the best storage option. Ask me in 10 years 😅1 point

I did what I could with the remnants from the mammoth skin after I made my thong (even though the trunk was too short)1 point
