Sorry buddy, i may have been overly cynical, but i've done a little research and haven't been able to find jack about any denim import law. Perhaps it was a shipping error? I've seen shipments come in destroyed before. I had a bag get torn to shreds once thanks (apparently) to a belt it got stuck on during processing, but it just plain doesn't make sense that customs would shred it.

As some said before, it doesn't necessarily have to be a denim issue but could be a copyright issue.

happened to me for a tradeshow. we manufacturer in China. you have to turn em inside out and write SAMPLE on every pc if you want it.

Have you tried if it would work if you write SAMPLE with ink that washes off?

kinda mean, but that joke wasn't too bad. reminds of of that bohumil hrabal novella, too loud a solitude, in which the protagonist, a bibliophile, is harnessed with the job of burning books. if memory serves me----it rarely does.

have any of you guys seen the pixar film "robots"? kinda reminds me of how that little kid robot had scrap parts for his entire body and he looked really awkward.
