from those pictures above I never would have tought that the jeans are actual indigo blue under the black dye. The look quite gray now.

I like the Zippo (?!) fade!

one thing that hasn't changed yet is the toughness of taking pictures that represent the true color. as from day 1 on they look blueish one day - and grayish the next day. depending on the light - but I try to always have the same daylight situation to minimize the inaccuracy.
