CREEPers (and other things with thick soles)

i did not dye them personal, but from what the cobbler told me he took a non-alcoholic base dye remover to take off the original coat then used several coats of a black dye/oil to turn it black.

Everything is a matte black now essentially include the metal eyelits and speedhooks and sole.

Non-alcholic base and actual redying instead of coating the shoe so to make sure there are not cracking on the layer. if i had to nitpick i can see the strokes where he used a cloth to rub in the dye and black oils. not noticeable unless you closely inspect it. after some wear and tear and follow up polishs, it will be fine.

no bumps. leather is smooth and soft. he tried to do a clean job as you can see the inner leather is still tan

i'm looking for new laces on ebay right now though as the leather laces i picked up are real bad, functionally and aesthetically.

Ann D footwear is inconsistent in general. That said, I have a pair of suede vitello's and they fit big. The sole is different on mine, but the rest of the shape is the same. So if sizing is the same, I would probably do half a size, if not a whole size down.
