Another day....

Spent the morning seeding pansies and violas. Other then dracena they are the first thing to get seeded. I'll take pics of my seeder some other time.

324 cell trays on a non heated bench. They like it cool and dark to germinate. Hand misting them.

Make sure the soil temp is nice and cool. For comparison my rooting bed is around 98°.

Cover them with the same type of tray upside down and plastic.

Then white foam to deflect the suns heat and put cat on top to guard.

Got another shipment of unrooted cuttings in. This time from Argentina. Bed is starting to fill up.

Some volunteers stopped by to help.

i actually only bought 4 books...the rest were found around the house along with the pile of fashion/home decor magazines. two of the books i bought however were poetry works which i plan on reading... the other two just looked nice and old lol

You could just plant in your back yard, but if you don't have one you should look into farm shares

in your area some let you plant and harvest your own.... as far as keeping a working farm by yourself in your free time it would be hard. It's more of a life style then a job.
