Ippudo is up a ways as well and has very good Japanese food.

ajchen suggested that I try Ippudo over Momofuku for some great ramen. It was excellent to say the least! I can't recommend it enough. Granted, we waited like an hour or so... but my friend and I walked around and got some Belgian french fries while we were waiting.

Hung around in the spa and infinity pool at our hotel until sunset. Pretty awesome infinity pool on the 21st floor.

Went out to dinner at New Heights on The Bund where I had a delicious rendang curry and got some of the best views available.

Tonight I walked along the water opposite Manhattan on the way to grab a drink with a friend..it was an eerie evening. Here is what I saw as I walked there and back.

Not today but recently (couple of months lol, just have to post this cool shop) was at Hinoya...

Reach there around evening, some shops were already closing.

Boots galore.... was planning to kop the Buzz Rickson service boots but turns out to be too chunky at the captoe for my liking.

Lady at the shop was kind enough to take a pic for us. She has more knowledge about denim and boots than one of the other male SA.

Hinoya is a great store, self edge is my #1 frequented store, hinoya is my number 2.

must spread vanquish

Totally agreed, both are great... BIG too.. absolutely love Gordon to death. And I do think Hinoya has the best service in Ueno. Went to other leather and denim stores especially Americaya... you can feel the vibe of unhappiness from them if you walk out not buying anything... I totally gave that place a miss when I was at Ueno recently.

Gordon is fantastic, though i rarely shop at BiG, had an amazing discussion with him about sugar cane and buzz. If im ever in Japan i will definitely stop by the actual hinoya store (ive never been there, but i order from them online, fantastic service). if uve got any more pics throw em up

I fucking LOVE Hinoya... I must have spent hours there over a few trips to Japan. So much great stuff crammed into a series of such tiny stores. The Dry Bones store and any of the Warehouse stores in Tokyo are also worth a look for the same reason.

Checked out the Yuyuan Gardens and the surrounding area right by our hotel. Place was huuuuuge... One of the largest maintained gardens in Shanghai, apparently.

Had to go to DN out of nostalgia. The store in Sydney's Chinatown served some of the best dumplings around, but eventually got replaced by a Taiwanese dessert shop.

i went scuba diving at Beqa Lagoon in Fiji.

Pretty awesome

All of the photos were taken using a Sea&Sea DX-2G with a wide angle conversion lens as well as two YS-01 Strobes. Almost everything underwater looks tinted blue unless you get some nice white lights to shine on the fish and corals to release their true colors.

My Dry Bones celebrated the 10th Anniversary of the store I run and the newly renovated look. Invited tonnes of people and had a great time.

I'm in the middle beside the owners of the business.
