spyderco is a great knife company

i remember when i was doing my EMT / Paramedic training i had a rescue (blue FRN) handle, and i lost it after using it to cut some webbing on a traffic collision call, im pretty sure it was swiped by some police or firefighter but thats OK...as long as its in good hands and being used for a good purpose

after that i never really bought them...stuck to the framelock strider, hinderer etc but my new millie really makes me appreciate the time and consideration the spyderco crew puts into making each knife...now im in the market for either a carbon fiber stretch, paramilitary, or endura w/wave

oh the choices, fk my bank account

Ken one thing that i really liked about this new one

is the shape of the blade where the lock sits...how it is slightly slanted..it has been fabricated with wear and tear in mind...extreme wear and tear

it would take years of real abuse to get the lockbar to slide over 100% like most emerson framelocks

beautiful, ive never been more pleased with a knife purchase before...even when i got my custom emerson (which i sold recently)

it's certainly more curved than those on striders. i like it. i was thinking about maybe getting a g10 scale made to lighten the knife a little. i wish the paracord hole was a little bigger.

now i'm looking to maybe get the g10 model and/or paramilitary 2, and definitely the fred perrin :)

dude yea it is a heavy knife, but i guess its good in that respect

i was thinking about taking a carbon fiber scale and swapping it out, but i dont want to uncenter the blade...and i would also have to buy a carbon fiber millitary and thats like an extra 250 haha

oh and by the way that 6 inch ti lite was just fucking ridiculous, its like a pocket sword

The SBMF BK. I wanted the all BK "combo" blade that's like 5/6 serrated because it looks badass.

ah, the one with the flat scales? that's the one i like, too. looks very badass indeed! but for some reason, i never got it :\

the iraqi model with the tan scales looks cool, too!

but yeah--most, if not all, spyderco's black+SE blades are badass.

Yessir!

The Iraqi one looks good too, but is all that really engraved on the blade like that? No offense to those fighting out there, but it looks kinda tacky.Would much rather have it on the handles. Couldn't complain if I had one tho.

What was wrong with the handles though? Just didn't feel so right in hand?

LMAO. well. is it my fault i find awesome deals on leathermans?

in other news, previously i said i was waiting on two XE6's.

well, the ebay auction didnt really specify exactly what model the multitools were, but showed a picture. I figured it was XE6's from the picture.

BUT. apparently its two Juice Pro's. They dont have their own page on the leatherman website, or atleast i couldnt find it.

SO. the Juice Pro's are just an XE6 with two added features that the XE6 doesnt normally have.

The two features are:

Foil Cutter

Tweezers

I'd say this is pretty much a triumph.
