i think it would be good if we can setup a site/blog where participant can log in and cross post their updates.

wordpress/blogspot is easy to setup

Yes, we have a contest! A long one too, but it'll be good for rotation. I've had too much discussion with Ooe-Yofukuten to NOT follow through with them...I know I won't be able to fight the urge to rotate those in a bit.

The links would work for the front-page concept. Pasting pics together would be another way around the picture limit.

We can do something like Joe's original suggestion - each contestant gets a post after the main one, and instead of updating it with pictures, we update it with links to our update posts later in the thread.

In theory, each contestant's post would end up looking like a mini xxx gallery.

i'll delegate any decision about posting formats to the rest of you guys, i have no real opinion on the matter. just as long as it's sorted before dec1 (preferably with some instructions), i'll happily play along with whatever you all choose.

My suggestion is we set up a wordpress account and all the participants will be given the login and password.

we can log in and post our updates there and of course after we post it here first.

each contestant should create their own tag and you tag your post with the same tag each time.

e.g let say I post my update today, I will put tag : LC 555 1947

and next time I post my update, I will tag it with LC 555 1947 and so on

on blog people will see the updates of all contestants according to the order of posts being made by all the contestant and in additional to that;

people can easily see the progress of each contestant just by clicking on the tag ( in my case LC 555 1947) and all the posts from me about my updates will appear on one page

I dig the blog idea but that gets me quite confused. Why should we post updates here if we have a full blog to do that? Maybe just a link or a reminder that the blog is updated?

let just say the blog serves as a record, an archieve to put all the progress pictures together for reference later or just for browsing pleasure..

Sure. A quick one. They're size 36x34

It's a really baggy fit. If you want to look slimmer that's definitely not a model for you!

Tanner,me wearing a skinny fit?no fucking way!my Denimes 66xx are the slimmest i will ever allow on me! i am sure after a proper soak yours will look killer,make sure to cuff them for a great vintage look.thinking about getting the knappave i have to be realistic.i just ordered a WH Lumberjack shirt and 50's Buzz Rickson Sweatshirt so i think i cannot afford another pair of jeans.

Yeah, about the slimmer fit that was just a general remark not directed at you!

And I completely agree with you about the shoes, I just took a quick fit pic and the first pair I could fetch were those but I got some nice brown and vintage looking Dr Martens wing tips and a pair of old Chippewa engineer boots that would go really well with this Knappave. About the shirt I got a Levi's 1920's repro striped shirt, I think that'll be the perfect match.
