I've had this nice articulating work lamp with magnifying glass for like 12 years and lost the base to it about a year and a half ago.

I found a nicer replacement base for $11. The lamp itself is ~$100 new, so I'm glad I held on to it.

In addition to finding that, all the other stuff I bought at the art supply store was either on sale or buy one get one free.
