after a recreative tuesday i have to do some work today.

don´t know, yet what I´ll be up for later...we´ll see.

after finishing my writing for today we had some iced coffee with blueberry and raspberry cake.

i received some stuff for my bike today...

...so i went on and mounted them.

first i put the new front brake on...

then the levers...

and finally i threw the grips back on.

we kept dinner rather simple today, but yet it´s a classical german meal.

after dinner i took my bike out for a spin to check the new parts and meet some friends.

we met at "Gärtnerplatz", a nice place downtown, where lots of young folks meet in the evening.

my friends had pizza (i also had a slice...) and we had "Radler" (shandy).

on my way back:

now i´m quite tired.

don´t think i can keep up with it for the whole period of 30 days, but i think i can post some pics later today, as well.

oh, and there´s really no need to worry for anyone about fitting into these. these jeans stretch like crazy and fit HUGE on me by now. they´ll get a really hot soak soon...

just returned from a short tour to get some ice cream.

we passed by "Schloss Nymphenburg", a castle in munich, pretty close to where we live.

Then we went to get some italian (of course) ice cream at this place:

alright guys, lemmy showed us how to cook italian pasta, so i´m gonna show you today how to make an original bavarian potato-cucumber-salad (there are many recipes and everyone does it how they like it best...)

first i cook the potatoes, till they´re done, but not too soft.

while the potatoes are cooking i prepare the dressing.

it contains: 1 onion, 2 teaspoon of mustard, 4 tablespoons of vinegar, mixed herbs, 150ml vegetable stock, 3 tablespoons of sunflower oil, salt and pepper

when the potatoes are done i take them out, peel them and cut them in slices. it is important to put them directly into the dressing, while they´re still hot

after i put all potatoes in the bowl i mix well and wait till the salad is cold.

in the meantime i prepare the cucumber. i grate them in thin slices and add some salt to make them lose some water.

in the end i mix the cucumber with the cold potatoes and that´s it.

we had it with fishsticks, which of course is less bavarian then the salad, but tastes nice and reminds me of childhood. :-D

this afternoon i jumped into some "sports clothing"...

...cause i met a friend for cycling. we rode to a very small lake, to go swimming. overall it was a 70km ride through munich´s outback. actually a reason why i love this city so much is, that you can jump on your bike ride for 20-30 minutes and you are in the countryside...

after coming home, chilled a bit and had a shower, i prepared my dinner. nothing spectacular, my girlfriend is working and i hate cooking for myself only. it´s just yesterday´s potatoe salad, leberkas (there´s no translation, it´s some bavarian mix of meat loaf and paté), pretzel and a wheat beer...all stuff that makes you fat.....actually it was delicious. :-D

later i´ll go out. my first night partying in these...don´t know yet, if i´ll take pictures. maybe...
