It's such a nice weather today so I decided to walk the 5 kilometers from my girlfriend to my home.

These boots are made for walking

On the horizon you can spot the spire of the village I live in.

Crossed a little bridge

Walked by some cows

You know jeans are made for cowboys...

Then I read this book to the cows (I didn't really do that!)

i was told that amongst the osaka5 the denim fades slowest to fastest in this order:

SDA

EVISU

DENIME

FULLCOUNT

WAREHOUSE

is this correct? im asking cause i know FC and WH but it seems maybe denime fades faster than FC?

beautifulfreak, listen. almostnice is your father, and you were predestined to join the dark side long before your birth. just deal with it son, there's no use fighting it. it's okay...

how did you come to this conclusion? think it´s a bit early to talk about speed of fading. we should compare our denime´s with the fullcount contest at three months maybe. but i had the feeling, that the fullcount contest jeans had some good fading quite fast, wasn´t it?

Depends.we have people at 6 months with hardly any fading and others like pwing with great looking pairs at just 3 months.it all depends how active you are.my pair is worn after work for prob. 7 hours and weekends.having kids means i spend some time on playgrounds,i bike a lot and do everything else apart from my job in it.but you are right, they fade fast and look good which isnt obvious.

well, i am a terrible barometer for how fast a jean fades cause of the effects of labor, which obviously speeds up the fading/damage tremendously. but before i got my FC everything i read said how the FC indigo was hard to break. but @3 weeks edmond has signs of fading. it's all relative i guess cause you have cats with flatheads and samurais who rock em for 4 months and complain that they washed them and they still didn't fade any. then there was a dude the other day that mentioned warehouse denim is hard to break:confused:

hm, i guess we´ll really see in a few months. my ass is faded from cycling after only one week and i also already see some fades at whiskers and combs, but on the other hand i cycled around 100-130miles in them and wore them 12+ hours every day, so i think you´d see some signs of fading on any jeans...as you said it´s basically hard to tell, cause lifestyles are so different...

i think it's all relative to activity level. 386 had a pair of SDAs and broke em' in no time. plus it's kinda like when you're sitting @work, and the first 7.75 hours fly by, but the last 15 minutes drag like shit cause you keep looking at the bottom right corner of the computer. the more you look at the clock, the slower it seems to go. it's like football, 90% of the game is 1/2 mental. some jeans are just harder to break due to dying method, but a lot of it is just in our demented, denim infested heads.
