problem with this is that i don't want to gain minimal amounts for such a laborous task as putting names on envelopes.

and i don't earn enough for the tax to have a substantial effect to my earnings.

Yardsale's are only good if you're in an area that knows the shit you're selling. Tried last year and people always asked why they shouldn't just "go to AE/H&M".

I hate this city.

Ebay will work better, but is more work. Try some friends, or just a salvation army-type thing.

yeah i usually round up all my old clothes and sell it to this girl from church for something like $150 although it's worth well more than that. but bottom line is that i've made more closet space but making a bit of cash in the process.

Salvation army does pickups of 5 garbage bags min. They pick up hand you receipt where you can fill an amount that you and your tax man can come up with for a write off.
