Wash = shrinkage

Wear = Strecth

i think i understand that part... just that some denim stretch more than others. i have the 13.75 one, so that very well know that stretches 1-2 sizes over tagged. i'm hoping that's the case on the 15oz. i screwed up on the sizing and got a size under__ that's why i'm asking around.

Gave my jeans their second wash Wednesday evening. Finally got water hot enough to get the shrinkage I've been looking for. PIx didn't turn out as well as I'd have liked, need to try on a little less brighter day.

after spending the holiday working on the cabin i decided to give these a wash. the fit is much better as i did not get all the shrinking out of the way the first go around. i also removed the jerky of a lable to prevent tearing and reattached the tab.

post soak, nothing very different color-wise, but they smell a lot nicer, and the fit is SO much better

locallau, it's cool how the honeycombs and stacks almost connect on your left calf. Very unusual.

yeah it's weird, i think it has something to do with the leg twist on that leg

I got to go to a big 12 game for my intersession class and took a few pics.

p-wing, baby! the green on the back of the sneaks bangin' off the green line is the dopeness! go hard daddy. everyone's denims are looking just gravy right now. i went to iralex's last friday to take pics of my sams&FC. two days later the zippo pocket ripped open while in my sleep( i wore them to bed and when i woke up and went to spark up a clip i realized my zippo was hanging out). repaired with BiG thread, and some warehouse thread)she should be posting pics in the evo thread within the week. btw, her APC(girls new cure) are the most beautiful jeans i've ever handled with my own hands. when she asked me if they were pretty i honestly didn't know how to respond. shorty is uber-gangsta! ima start repairing them next week.

I'm washing mine tomorrow. These hold their color pretty well, right? I'm just doing a warm machine wash with a little detergent and a hot rinse in the tub to shrink...

^^ if you do a warm wash it will shrink back up no need for a wash and soak.

I find that my jeans feel nicer if I give them a rinse in the tub after they go through a machine wash. The washer is clogged with limescale and a bathtub rinse gets that stuff out better.

But yeah a warm wash is probably enough to shrink them back.

Just washed them. They're drying now.

If there's any noteworthy change I'll take some post wash pics.

actually a warm and cold soak have about the same shrinkage it just shrinks by like 1.

^They shrunk back more than 1". They fit much better now, the hipflare is gone. Not much loss of indigo, but they have a richer blue color after the wash.

i've been forced to wash in cold H20 the past few washes, and they seemed to shrink about the same amount. but keep in mind they are fully shrunk at this point. i'll wash again next week. i'm not going more than 2-4weeks w/o a wash. miki-san style....these are softer than the hair on a baby's ass

Yeah I'll probably wash every month or so during the summer. I was never big on going as long as possible without washing. Even in my Nudie days.
