how do you feel about the black overdye on the sumis? I saw them in the supermarket and that was the only thing keeping me way cuz I seen a bunch of people were unhappy with them

I wouldnt really call it "black" so much as the darkest fucking indigo known to mother nature.

They deffinetly arn't like my Flatheads where i'd expect to see the kind of results i have in the 6-7 months ive worn 'em. Im thinking these sorahiko's are gonna be life long labour of love...but in 2 years time? Mind blowing results should be expected.

so she's going the hard wear route? i wonder how those would turn out with frequent washings.

i think she's going to be washing them whenever they start to smell a bit funky. but from what i can tell so far, my guess is that these are better served washing more frequently than not. it's because these threads are so dark while the cores are so white, they become super-contrasty real fast. if you go an entire year without a wash with these, they could end up looking quite ridiculous, almost artificial.

are these sorahiko slims? i have the regular suminando sorahikos but i dont like the cut of the leg enough to wear them often. they are a bit too wide. just looking at getting something slimmer with the same denim and quality.

Nah, I sized down one. True to size would have been acceptable too since they barely stretch. Those are the fit pics I posted a couple months ago.

i actually gave them away to a guy who's about to become my brother-in-law. i'll check with him next time i see him to see if he still has them. i heard he gained some weight so maybe i can get them back.

sorry it took a while, but i did get the kazehiko's back from my brother-in-law.

^ no, chan i think those are the new kazehikos. the ones i posted are from few years ago, when they were basically sorahikos without the selvage edges (and at a much better price point).

anyone have any tips on cuffing sorahikos? I purchased a pair from japan, which I asked for Sorahiko Slims, but I'm pretty damn sure these are sorahikos as the leg from the knee down is just huge.

I really don't wanna have to taper these, any sorahiko owners go with the double cuff to combat the bulkyness?

I am absolutely not feeling the leg opening on these right now

ive had the same issues with the regular cut. its just too wide for me. ive done the double cuff. makes it a little better but its still wide. the 45rpm store as far as i was told doesnt have the suminando sorahiko slim. i had a proxy call and ask

i havent worn my nandos for a long time, mainly because i didnt like the way they fit. so i decided to change the shape of them, by tapering the leg from the knee and also slightly bringing in the thigh area. anyway this is how they now look. old on left, new on right.

ps. dont be hating cos you dont have cool slippers like mine and also, the spacing on the back pockets really makes your ass look big.

what a coinkydink, im actually wearing these today. i did the tapering myself and i prob took them in a total of about 1.5-2 inches at the hem and graduated up to the knee/thigh.

just took them off and shot a couple of pics with my webcam to show you.
