good visuals / production value with shit acting. i had never read the book before so it was all new to me, fairly interesting alternative history at least. also got renewed for a second season run just recently i believe

heh, pretty much everyone outside of this thread won't shut up about it tho. news articles like crazy too, almost as if they missed the actual story the first time around and are trying to make up for it

11 Episodes I think. Its really good though. I watched all 11 episodes in about a 24 hour period. I can't imagine anyone watching only an episode or two and not wanting to finish it.

I'm a big documentary fan so I loved this and the Jinx. They're both really well made but MaM had more mind blowing moments for sure

How´s Man in the High castle? The cinematics/viduals of those kind isnt really my thing but might give it a try

i thought it was pretty good. the alternative story line was very interesting, it caught my girlfriend's attention so we binge watched the whole thing in one day. i never read the book so i can't really say much about it though.

Just started watching Ugly Betty again after 10 years, and I'm now realizing how I ended up here.

Billions is alright, not great. too bad that Malin Akerman can't act her way out of a wet paper bag. will continue watching for now

​Workaholics delivering another solid season so far. Never gave Idiot Sitter more than one episode, wasn't really feeling it. is Broad City still a thing?

​still watching Colbert on the regular, mostly as a good show to click on after work and wind down a bit with. the relationship with the band is kinda cringe-worthy, but the jokes and guests keep me coming back

Watching Billions too, has potential, and with The Big Short (movie) it fits nicely into high finance shenanigans theme.

 

The Expanse is weak in acting and a bit unfocused, but please more of those realistic space battles and I am a happy camper.

three episodes into Amazon's Mad Dogs... didn't realize it was a remake until i was browsing IMDB. pretty wild ride so far

heh good point. probably not gonna bother with the 2011 version, as the internets tells me that seasons 3 and 4 went downhill way fast

I was mildly intrigued by the first two episodes or so of Mad Dogs, but it quickly deteriorated into a boring piece of shit, although somehow I watched it all through. Bosch is a cool show though, S02 is supposed to be coming up soon as well. Also thanks to this thread for putting me onto Horace and Pete, I guess it's going to be a hate it or love it-kinda show, but i'm firmly placed in the latter camp.

^ couldn't agree more. Thought I was gonna be raging at how the mad dogs s01 finale ending, but I actually ended up liking it quite a bit

thought they might leave a cliff hanger where they're all arrested separately or some shit

Also enjoyed Bosch, looking forward to S02 next month

Can't find a YouTube clip yet unfortunately but the BWOW band skit on the newest Portlandia episode had me rolling. It's Twangy, Stripped Down, and Sensual
