thought this weeks ep of workaholics was whatever

no love for sunny?

sunny has been ass since season 4

boardwalk has felt especially slow this season - sort of feel like there's a lot going on in each episode but everything is still more-or-less the same by the end of the episode (i.e. buscemi is still in office and more-or-less fine it seems, every character is pretty much in the same place as when it started). i still like it though.

i wouldnt say "ass" but up until the 5th season, almost every episode was good, then after the 4th season it was hit or miss

I think Boardwalk is giving us a slow burn until the shit explodes. There was a season of Sopranos that was similar. Not alot of capping-of-asses until the final storm.

Characters just seem so contrived so far. The wigger meth cooking pot head seems like a throwaway character from Go, Walter's limp-dick teacher to murdering drug dealer transition seems total outlandish. I duno, I'll hang in there for season one and reserve the rest of my judgements.

The progression of Jesse's character is one of my favorite aspects of the series, it's beautiful to say the least.

I was hooked on The Wire after the opening scene of episode 1... that shit was brilliant.
