heres another one for the road: my mom used to say "fag lights" instead of fog lights. i guess we were searching for fags on that particular evening.

huh. yeah, i was carted around in a van with all the windows completely tinted except for a small strip in the windshield. i stayed in cebu city in a gated/guarded community. didn't get to do too much w/o escort.

did go to bohol, handled some endangered animals (tarsier), and went to too many malls...

all i wanted to do was go to a sari-sari, but those days are behind me, i guess.

um... when i was a kid, i'd play with some fireworks called WATUSI, you'd just rub it across the ground and it would start popping/crackling---------no one ever knows what i'm talking about; does that ring any bells?

for new years...my cousins bough this strip of fireworks. it was called...cinturon de judas. haha it was nuts. it was like gunshots for 2 minutes. haha. and baby dynamite. blew out the street lights, made car alarms go off and everything. super fun.

and about bohol...my tito was one of the big developers of that place. so yeah...next time i go. its all expenses paid to bohol. chocolate hills!

ugh, why am I not surprised that three of the most infamous posters on sf (red, greentea, and ddml) are fellow pinoys :P.

WHY ARE FILIPINO MEN SO VAINNNNNNNN?

It is our curse, I suppose. In other news, I just bought my SC 47s and already I am thinking about my next conquest... perhaps some LVC 66s?

our disposition towards vanity is partly due to a lack of identity in the US. but personally, i am a damn stickler for quality and tailoring. screw compromising!

hahaha! yeah, when i was a kid, i used to bathe in a trashcan that we filled up in the courtyard-----most people didn't have running water; this was in manila. i saw my first naked white woman in that same courtyard during the filming of a ninja movie-----she was a redhead!

this rainy weather always reminds me of the 'pines.

anyone eat those korean bugs for strength??? hahahaha! worked for me! ::flexing::

I visited the Philippines last year in November and it was seriously the best four weeks of my life! I spent the first three weeks in the province (Infanta, Pangasinan) with family. Goddamn it was so kickback! My uncles are all heavy drinkers, lol, and we would tell stories/jokes and sing karaoke all night long while drinking San Mig or Red Horse and smoking Winstons and Hope. This was the first time I learned about palutan, haha. Sisig, crispy pata, isaw and pinapaitan are soooo goooood.

The best part of the trip was staying in Makati in Manila for the last five days. The malls there trump anything the US has to offer. I think it was Greenhills where I got lost and couldn't find my family for like two hours. But the women, wow, they are so beautiful! Just a few steps outside of our hotel there were blocks full of clubs and karaoke bars. I won't even get into some of the things I did there, LOL! It's nice to see that the city is slowly making improvements, Makati is especially nice.

But anyway, I had no idea there was an APC in the Philippines. I'm going there this December/January for six weeks so I'm definitely gonna bring some extra cash.
