i have no choice if i actually want to fit them. they got stretched to shit and a 27 is already a little loose on me in 19cm. i am actually amazed the clasp didn't snap as its bent wide open from being worn too tight. that i can just smash down by hand i think. don't worry though, i'm not going to full-on wash them or anything.

i haven't tried them on yet (would be a little wierd to do that here at the office as i'm sure people would notice that i changed my pants mid-day), but they definitely look pretty stretched out. i will likely give them a good hot soak this weekend before i wear them so they will shrink down a little to fit my tiny ass. and there will be plenty of pics of that process.

ok, so i finally had a chance to try them on and all i can say is WOW! these things are huge now, a measurement BiG style has them at over 16" in the waist. when i put them on and clasped them they literally fell down around my ankles. i am going to give them a scalding hot soak tomorrow and pray that they shrink back to near a normal 27w size. otherwise i will be belting them up tight and wearing baggy pants for the next month. they are definitely as big as a stretched out size 28 at this point.

soaked the jeans today:

i grilled up some amazing pork chops today but i forgot to take pics. will try to remember at least 1 food shot tomorrow if i eat anything noteworthy to carry on the tradition of the 19cm world tour/eat-a-thon.

once these are dry i will post up some fit and worn pics. should be good to go tomorrow.

Sorry I was really slacking towards the end of my leg of the tour everyone, things got a little hectic with too much play, but I do have a few more pics I will try to get up later. The jeans in fact aren't as contrasty as jskidder says, more of a dull gray but I have great expectations for them! And yeah, I guess I stretched them out a bit too much...

well, they definitely fit better after the soak. knees and hips are a little loose but i will manage. definitely looser than any of my other pants and the hips and knees are badly stretched in particular. some basic fit pics (not really happy with how they came out, but too lazy to retake them):

really? i personally think they look pretty much the same on everyone...

i mean, some people are skinnier (totally epic), while others are heavier (aho), but they still look relatively the same.

not a bad thing, though! they still look awesome on everyone.

I think they look very different on everyone. On Aho they were skin tight, now they're a little baggy. But if jskidder had them first maybe they would have fit different cause of the stretch.

I'm still on the fence about Metromint. The chocolate one is kinda gross. The lemon is decent.

wow, hah yeah.. that dude is out of his tree but i dig it. i personally have had the "Greens" (Dallas Green and Anthony Green) of alexisonfire and circa survive on repeat the past few months with both of their latest releases...if you know devendra banhart i'm sure you know them as well. and to your advantage you live in chicago which is definitely an indie music mecca.. thats cool shit you're in on the musical art scene so to speak. is that your occupation by chance?
