classes, you could do whatever you wanted, the casting system was basically an action game, plus the games economy made it so that the most lucrative activity was killing other players.

I played the free trial of WoW and it was amusing for about 20 levels when you leveled up quickly and everything was new and moderately interesting and everyone else sucked so the community was sort of fun.

After that, it got shitty fast.

Lord British was amazing... Old school everquest had some great pranks too. WoW is a load of bull SHIT and I have to watch 2 of my roomates sabatoge their lives with it 6+ hours a day. Brutal.

explosion > deadly poison > arm vanquish mace > corp por > magic arrow (disrupt you tryin to cure/heal yourself) > paralyze > explosion again > arm mace > corp por or kal vas flam.

I was talking about when he got killed. It was just a very effective display of the fact nearly anything was possible in that game. Anchor thieves were seriously some of the funniest people in any game ever.

eh, the death of lord british wasnt due to "anything being possible". it was a glitch. there was another instance where he was killed but that was part of a storyline that UO was running for peopel to kill the "red" that killed British.

Actually it was an example of how buggy the beta was in that his invulnerability flag error'd out and didn't reset after a server rollback.

there was so many glitches and bugs in that game that worked as an advantage.

ie: neon hairdye was originally a glitch that became a full feature in the game, same with duping weapons (never a full feature but people took advantage of it) and binding weapons.
