Naked & Famous Denim

Saw the citrus weft in Barney's this weekend. Not a fan. Even without fading you can see the red stripes going across. Not being a matchstick horizontally striped legs are not appealing. I'm not certain I would really want to see stripes showing through in any direction so clearly, but I think I'd like vertical stripes better.

Just picked up a pair of the citrus weft at Barney's Co-Op in Costa Mesa today. I was leery of them after reading your post, but the red stripes were more subtle in the indigo than I was expecting from that. Plus the price wasn't bad ($175 retail and all N&F denim is 20% off at Barney's right now), and since these are limited to 75 pairs total, I figured that I'd go for it.

I also saw the camo weft model there as well, which was possibly even more impressive than the citrus weft. It was more expensive, though ($250 retail), so I went with the citrus today.

Glad you like them. I was definitely into the camos, but I can't rock the skinny guy.

havent posted these in a bit, and I officially don't wear them anymore, i'm not feeling the super slim look at the moment. I don't think they look bad, just prefer a bit more room in the leg right now. I'm coming up on the 1 year mark officially today I believe, so I dug around and wanted to post some documentation i've done on these over the last year.

and now here they are at the 1 year mark...hope you all enjoy the trip. These are going to be RETIRED now, unless I spend some $$ getting the crotch reinforced / repaired. its pretty bad.

they have shrunk quite a bit over 6 washes, which is what surprised me the most for a sanforized jean. the inseam is now much shorter than 35" where it started out and the waist is 1" smaller even after stretching. The thighs have shrunk down considerably as well which is where I notice the biggest difference in fit for me. and i've gained a few pounds so they fit much slimmer than they did. the best fit on these IMO was in the winter of last year. figure if i lose 5 pounds they will fit similarly again.
